SITE FOREMAN

We are looking for a hardworking, collaborative individual to join our team as a Site Foreman.

As a Site Foreman, you will provide oversight of the carpentry team on one or more projects. This includes organizing resources and coordinating subcontractors, vendors, tools, and equipment; ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed; and workflow is proceeding on schedule. The Site Foreman shall be responsible for quality control, project efficiency, site safety, and supporting the project team with inspections and scheduling

As a Site Foreman, you will be expected to perform the following key responsibilities at your assigned projects:

  • Provide leadership to carpentry team
  • Manage material acquisitions
  • Maintain a clean and tidy job site
  • Perform job progress and completion punch lists
  • Perform quality control checks on all self-performed or contracted work
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team
  • Identify and report non-compliance with safety standards to Chief Safety Officer
  • Maintain daily log (Foreman Daily Huddle) of activities on the jobsite
  • Support the scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in sequence to ensure timely completion
  • Assist in apprenticeship training program
  • Assist in tool management program

Qualifications and/or Experience:

  • Red Seal Certification in Carpentry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership roles in Construction
  • Experience in residential renovation construction
  • First aid certified
